Christine invites you to explore and to ask questions. However she does so while giving us the tools to do that exploration with respect and with minimal judgment. Great concepts,easily approachable, in a time when it seems people are afraid or hesitant to talk about Sex,this book is a great guide for doing so. It's an easy read,good explanations,with story telling to make it relatable for most. There's a lot of good content here to open discussions as well. I Highly recommend Sacred Not Secret. There's no shame in sex or the feelings that arise as we grow into them. Christine has done a fantastic job. Thanks for releasing your knowledge into the world,I'm confident it'll help many people.
This is an essential read for all humans. It really breaks down a lot of the toxic conditioning around sexuality but in a very loving, gentle, straightforward way. I love how it goes through the sexual development from a very young age. It gives parents and future parents a good idea on how to speak about sexuality around kids and positive ways to respond to children touching themselves. I think this is so essential, because for a lot of people, the shaming around natural desires started very young and blockages were created that need to be healed now. It is very positive to know how to allow the next generations to develop in an emotionally safe environment! I love this book.
Practical yet deeply insightful and beautifully written perspectives on sexual health for all. Timely as perspectives and societal attitudes toward human sexual behaviors are shifting and women are becoming increasingly empowered in this area. Highly recommend it!!
This book was excellent to shamelessly open your mind to topics from sex to gender roles, to self care and more. It was engaging and eye opening. It affirmed some of my current beliefs and opened me to new ideas. I found it to be a great aid in personal healing that I am working on.

This book is an excellent workbook to help a person or partnership with communication. There are fantastic explanations for each concept as well as thought provoking questions to end each chapter.This book is open about sexuality and reminds you that it is not shameful, and that we are always changing.I have heard the author speak before, and some of her stories are familiar but I still learned something new from reading them. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy and read it twice, and each time learned something new.
Wow. This book in insightful. Powerful. Moving. And most of all enthralling. I couldn't put it down. This book opened up an awareness of my own relationship with my body I hadn't recognized before. It has and continues to help me reevaluate how I treat myself and others around me not just in a context of sexuality but pure connection. I have moved mountains of trauma with the help of this book and look forward to reading more insight from the author. The way she writes makes it hard to put this book down. The meditations at the end of each chapter help solidify the information not just mentally but physically. I suggest everyone read this book. As a parent having read this book it is a great tool and I am incredibly grateful for its having been published as my little one was just born. This is a great gift for yourself (some self care through literature) an amazing book for new parents, parents to be or really just about anyone.
