About the Author
Michelle Ricci is a television writer-producer. A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, she is best known for her work on Murdoch Mysteries as a writer and producer since 2011. She has written 10 episodes of the series as well as the webseries The Murdoch Effect and Nightmare on Queen Street. Mir Bahmanyar has authored non-fiction books and articles specializing in current US special operations. In recent years Mir has been writing and producing films. He co-wrote and produced the award-winning motion picture Soldier of God and occasionally acts as a consultant to the TV and feature film industries.Maureen Jennings emigrated to Canada from the UK at the age of seventeen. Best known for the Murdoch Mysteries series, the TV adaptation of which has been running since 2008, Jennings has also launched a new contemporary series featuring a forensic profiler named Christine Morris. She lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband, two cats and two dogs.

I LOVE the TV show Murdoch Mysteries so I was excited to see this book. The book is more "character" background, and follows through season 8. I was hoping for a little bit more "trivia" regarding the actors and things like filming locations. There is some trivia/background information regarding the actors, costumes, and Murdoch's "inventions" (props). But overall, I enjoyed the book. Lots of pictures.
This is a really great companion book to the Murdoch tv series. I loved the photos of both the regular and recurring cast members, as well as the different sections on the making of the series. The chapters on costumes, locations, sets and music were first rate! The chapters on each the main character was also very helpful in giving me further insight into them. I also wish to say that the book I received was in perfect condition. It was described as slightly used but you would never know it, it looked like it just came from the publisher! I am very pleased to add this to my library.
For fans of the Murdoch Mysteries this is a must have book. It is not only filled with interesting photographs, but it has interesting information about the characters and their fictional lives. I have enjoyed reading it and looking at all of the photographs.
Wonderful, high-quality book!! Terrific content & and the condition of the used book was much better than expected. I hope they do another for the remaining seasons.
Book is well done and provides background info for series characters. Excellent photos and narrative. Labor of love, obviously. Recommend highly.

We are HUGE Murdoch fans and this book is excellent! I gave it to my husband for his birthday and he started reading right away. It gives interesting tidbits about the filming and actors
If you like the Murdoch Mysteries get this book. Nicely done, great photographs and they give some nice detail on each of the characters.
